On October 6th, 2015 at 3:30, the Kearns Cougars Volleyball team faced off with Murray Spartans. The two schools warmup and practice for their big game that will be held in Murray High school’s main gym. Before the game started both teams huddled together. Along With their coaches, as coach, Ms. Snell planned out a strategy for the win. Both teams start off clean. They manage to make the ball hit the floor of the opposing team. The Spartan do their best to make a score on the Cougars. The Cougars never lost their hope nor faith in the game, as the Spartan manage to make their goals through the Cougars defense. The Cougars took a timeout, starting planning out another strategy for making their points. It’s 10 to 4 once they have a better plan they start playing better and they see the score is changing. The game gets better, but soon after the plan wasn’t good enough. The Murray Spartans made it through and got the points to win the match. They kept their heads up and looked forward to their next game. As the game ended both teams gave out a clean handshake and said good game and they left. As Murray won the match of Volleyball.  Even though the Kearns Cougars lost 30 to 12, they never let their spirit down. Schuyley Terry stated. “For starters we didn’t do well, for our upcoming games we will do much better on our passing, communicating, and talking to each other and scoring points.”
