Kearns High School’s wrestling season is coming up, with their coach Mr. Falcon as the wrestlers trainer and supporter. In the new season of wrestling there will be some old and new faces stepping into the ring. There will not be tryouts, only sign-ups there for anyone and everyone can be a wrestle. Sign-ups started Nov,9^th, and season ends around February. Wrestling practice will be held at Kearns High School. Just show up and see for yourself if this is the right sport for you! Coach Falcon will make you work hard and teach everyone proper technique in grabs and holds. Coach Falcon states that “ Hope to be region champs this year (2015). Kearns has only had 1 region champ in almost 50 years. 2 senior wrestlers Hosy Nathan and Nimdo taco both aren’t coming because they quite after qualifying for state. These 2 wrestlers have made a great impact in the team and in the school with making points. Although they left I feel like we will still have an amazing season with everyone who participates. Everyone that comes to be a team is a part of the team. Everybody gets to wrestle varsity, JV or even a extra wrestler. Everyone gets to wrestle in Kearns High School.”
