Hector’s Dancing Story

Hector Torres Perez is an outstanding student at Kearns High school. Even though Hector may only be a sophomore he is already starting an amazing passage for his future. Hector is the student government’s sophomore Vice President and also in Dance Company. Practicing from 2:30- 5:30pm and having meeting. You may think  it must be hard for Hector to focus in school but he says, “ School helps me a lot in dancing because it makes me focus harder. Also helps me get amazing grades to get accepted to outstanding studios like Pace Elite!” Hector has been dancing for 3 years now and says he loves it! He looks up to Bailee Dean, Kylie Erickson, Ricky Ubeda, and many more dancer. Hector wants to become a doctor and an assistant Drill coach. Also wanting to inspire others to join dance too. He says, “ Never give up on dancing, because it takes time. The harder you practice the better the outcome. Blood, sweat, and tears will be a daily thing. Don’t be afraid of that, because once you step on that floor you perform on it’s the best feeling ever! Dance is way more than a sport, it’s a way for you to challenge yourself to do things not every average human can do.”
