Ms. Mueller enjoys teaching the majority of the dance classes and the 2016-2017 Dance Company a lot. Ms. Mueller works very hard for what she does. She said, “ It is very tiring and difficult, but I enjoy teaching very much”. She is a very hard working teacher that decided she wanted to teach the dance classes, and she is very good at it. Ms. Mueller has been teaching dance for one and a half years at school and after this year it will be her second year teaching at Kearns High.

Ms. Mueller said that she was teaching at studios off and on for a few years. Ms. Mueller was taught all of the other dance styles there except social dance. It was different because that was her first time teaching social dance, and while Ms. Mueller was teaching the students how to dance, she was learning the style/dance, too. She likes teaching the other dance classes more than teaching social dance because it is more her style.

We have a Great Dance Company and Ms. Mueller said that they have a lot of aspect and it is hard for her to get them to listen when she is trying “ to teach, watch them, get costumes, and just trying to do it all; it’s not easy”. They have had a hard time listening to Ms. Mueller when she’s telling them what to do and what dance moves to do. They are used to choreographing their own dances instead of the teacher, but they will get used to it soon. They are incredible and they practice everyday and even practice sometimes after school. Ms. Mueller is a great teacher and will go a long way in her career.
