With fashion trends always changing and advancing, taking a deeper look than just the surface can help us better understand how people’s fashion choices are more than just clothes .  And where better to look at fashion then a school filled with thousands of different styles and personalities.

So on January 23 2024,  junior at Kearns High School Tiger Mclucas was asked how style is a reflection of his personality and mood? In which he responded “ I’m usually in baggy clothes because it’s the most comfortable but my outfits change based on my attitude and how i am feeling that day” Which most people attending school could probably relate to.

Mclucas was also asked, How does fashion make everyone different or unique?  ” And he stated that “fashion makes everyone unique because each piece of clothing, the color and the feelings and emotions you get when you wear is different from everyone else’s  which makes it unique” Which goes to show how your internal emotions and choices impact the external representation of yourself.

He was also asked where is favorite places to shop were and he expressed that “I actually like to go thrifting at like the good will” Which is a great way to save money with some of his favorite brands being “ Nike, Champion, Carhartt and Dickies” Mclucas was also asked if he anyone inspires him to dress they he does and he said that “I don’t look at others fashion styles and try to copy it, i just do me” Which is a great mind set to keep when expressing yourself and not trying to blend in with the crowds. To sum up, Tiger Mclucas and his sense of style, this shows how  fashion can be more than just clothes.
