This school year is ending faster than anyone could have anticipated! Many of Kearns High School’s performance teams are preparing for end of year shows. Have you prepared for summer at all?
Each year must come to an ending of its own, with seniors looking for what to do next, and others trying to finish this year and set up for next! With some applying to colleges, as some prepare for shows, and others just preparing for summer! Many different people live in and around Kearns, here is a peek into some of their ways of ending a year of school.
“Finishing my credit recovery and classes is number one for me,” said Sierra Bellentino. The senior students graduating this year like Sierra, are mostly in high drive, striving to finish high school and truly begin their lives. With those who have credit recovery in a rush to finish, they must find a way to keep everything organized. “I keep a planner of what is due and when, as well as tests and study times.” Says Sierra. Finding the balance of school and personal life is imperative.
Kearns High School has many different teams preparing for shows and tournaments, such as the color guard team, and the band team, who are preparing for their showcases, where they show off all the choreographs and other shows in one, and the wrestling team prepares for its final tournament.
We also have people who are just going with the flow and excited for summer, making plans with friends and family, many people are going out traveling, and others going to theme parks and more when they all open.
With so many different people to see, places to go, and things to do, how are you preparing for the end of the year?
