The VMAS (MTV Video Music Awards) is a award winning ceremony created by MTV back in
1984 and is for summer music, the voting ballot began August 6, 2024 and ended September 10, 2024 just a day before the event taking place in New York City in the USB Arena.
Hosting the VMAS this year is Megan Thee Stallion giving awards. Taylor Swift won up to 7 awards that night for best collaboration, artist of the year, video of the year, best pop, best direction and best editing for her song “Fortnight” featuring artist Post Malone. Sabrina Carpenter winning song of the year with espresso. Chappelle Roan winning best new artist. Other winners for other categories include, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, LISA, SZA, LE SSERAFIM, SEVENTEEN, Tyla and many more notable artists.
