Why? Because she owns her very own business as a nail tech and how she did it is admirable. Mareli Salas is a talented young girl who wanted to become a nail tech because of how expensive it is to get your nails done these days. She started by watching Tik Tok, YouTube, and getting some tips and tricks from a former friend that also is a nail tech.

Who inspires her? Her future self. She just wants to be known as herself. When she started to do nails she was only 12 years old in her house. She did this with a small station dedicated to doing nails. The reason why she started to do nails was so she can retire her parents and be able to provide for them. Just like they did with her. How does she manage school and a business at the same time? After her clients for that day leave she does her homework for that day. Here’s some advice she recommended for people who want to start their own business at such a young age. “Don’t give up, like I know there’s reasons to get discouraged. Sometimes seeing other people work to do the same thing as you could make you feel discouraged because they are better than you. But don’t let them bring you down. You’re going to get there at some point and just keep going, focus on yourself and what you’re doing and your business.”
