Everything began in 1873, Asylum 49 was once a hospital in Tooele closing in 2001 and remained closed until 2006 due to its haunted nature. Now Asylum 49 is a famous location for its haunted house and its ghost hunting attractions. Kimberly Hutcheson in NW Arkansas believes Asylum is the best because “We do not EVER stop working on the haunt, we are passionate about the scare and always want a new experience for our customers every season.”

Strangling Brothers Haunted Circus
Legend has it there used to be an evil ringleader that traveled with the circus. After the workers had enough of his torture, they got together and made a plan. They charged the ringleader together and strangled him, gaining their name as the “strangling brothers”. You can enjoy their haunted circus, and their family friendly option to tour during the day. Scott Knight and John Russell informed us that the theme this year is “Infectus takeover. Full zombie theme.” Make sure to gather your friends and families to enjoy this fan favorite haunted attraction.

Nightmare on 13th
Nightmare on 13th has many ways for you to get scared. Nightmare on 13th has two haunted levels, the first one is for everyone; they have clowns, witches, beasts and many more. The second level has a VIP exclusive attraction for those who’re looking for more of a thrill. This haunted house is popular for their variety for everybody. Phillip Wright takes extra precautions with keeping his employees safe by “We have police officers on site every single night that we are open. We have security in the haunted house at all times. We have over 80 cameras with eyes on everyone in the haunted house.”

Fear Factory
Before what we know as Fear Factory it was previously owned by Portland Cement Works. Portland Cement was forced to shut down due to at least 11 documented deaths of workers. Many others tried to open up shops in the building but were scared out due to its haunted nature. Now to this day Fear Factory is a fan favorite because of its cursed back story. You can attend the haunted attractions in all six buildings or book a public paranormal investigation of the factory on Monday nights.

Castle of Chaos
Castle of chaos is an amazing choice for everyone and they have many different levels to choose from. They even have an 18+ only for those who are brave enough. If that’s not enough they also have a haunted escape room that you can complete with your group.
