Kearns Cougars suffered a 56-7 defeat to Granger, struggling to keep pace in a tough match-up. September 18th 2025. 
AS the Kearns Cougars are sweating and panting in their final moments of the game as the last whistle is blown they look up to see yet another defeat. The Cougars were ready for the win. They rushed out into the field as the crowd cheered them on, chanting, “Let’s go Cougars.” The field was dry and the weather was fair. The game was about to begin.
GRANGER kicked off to Kearns, Kearns punted the ball to Granger. Granger had the ball on their own 32-yard line Kearns-0 Granger-0 “20 yard pass complete” Granger passed their first touchdown and up 6-0 Granger fans were cheering them on for an early celebration. Kearns hoped for a comeback soon. Granger got a point after touchdown (PAT) the score was 7-0 Kearns was losing and the crowd was anticipating another loss.
KEARNS has the ball at their own 32-yard line. Kearns has punted to Granger, Granger has the ball on Kearns 11-yard line. Granger rushing the ball makes yet another touchdown the score is now 14-0 Grangers fans are suspecting an easy victory. Kearns punts the ball yet again and Granger has the ball.
QUARTER two Granger comes on strong with a passing touchdown Kearns is starting to lose hope but still has a chance to make a comeback 21-0. Kearns gets a kick return for a touchdown the Cougars are gaining hope once again 20-7 the crowd is going crazy they didn’t expect Kearns to get a touchdown. Kearns punts the ball to Granger, Granger has the ball. Granger shows Kearns who’s boss makes another passing touchdown 28-7 the fans are getting less excited as they keep dominating Kearns.
GRANGER kicked off to Kearns. Kearns punts to Granger, Granger has the ball at their own 10 yard line. Granger proceeds with yet another rushing touchdown 35-7. Granger gets the ball again after Kearns kicked off to Granger and they scored another touchdown 42-7. Granger, absolutely dominating Kearns while most of the fans are out of their seats grabbing something to bite and watching the cheerleaders cheer on the Lancers. Granger gets another passing touchdown. 49-7.
QUARTER three Granger, already celebrating their victory, gets a kick off from Kearns. Granger with one last rushing touchdown brings the score to a solid 56-7. Granger 3rd down has 3 minutes left trying not to humiliate Kearns any more than they have, Granger sits at the 35 yard line and waits for the timer to go out.
QUARTER four Kearns players are tired and they feel hopeless looking at the score they give up the ball to Granger and end the game with a final score of 56-7. Granger is celebrating and their fans are cheering, while Kearns walks back to the locker room with less excitement and seemed happy that the game was over and yet they got another defeat on their record.
