Over 130 athletes came ready to run out into a new journey for Kearns High School.
This is a new year, a new start, and a new beginning for the Kearns track and field. This year will be different; athletes are preparing and getting ready to set new standards and make the Kearns High track and field rise up.

Kearns High School is known for a few sports, and now it is time for it to be known for track and field as well. The athletes want to set history and leave behind an amazing example that will continue for years to come. With so much dedication and effort, their time is already starting to improve. With practicing five sometimes six times a week, the team is starting to get stronger each day.

There is more to running than just moving your feet. The athletes have to work on their formation from arms, to legs, to mindset, and speed. Throwing and jumping are also things that take time and lots and lots of practice to master.

Although it may seem easy, Track and Field is harder than it looks. Coaches put in their time and effort to come up with workouts, improve with new strategies, help athletes out, and make the team stay together as a family. They are one of the most important parts of the team.

Together, both the athletes and coaches will put in lots of hard work to make this year’s team something Kearns High School has never seen before, something that will make history in Kearns High School. It is time to make a difference and sometimes change is a good thing. It is time for the Kearns High School record board to be changed and recognized.

It is time to make a good impact in Kearns High School. With three coaches working with the team, they are Gorder, Andre, and Toilolo. There is only time to wait to see what this amazing team will bring. Qualifying for State is the goal they want to reach.
