Our Kearns High Athlete of the Month for December is Alexia Fadness. Alexia is a senior this year at Kearns High School. This is Alexia’s third year on drill and she started because she watched a drill performance once in junior high and decided that her goal would be to make it on the team in high school.
To Alexia dance means a lot, because it has been a part of her life for as long she can remember. Within the lost three years, drill has given Alexia a different kind of love for dance. Alexia does enjoy dancing, and she enjoys it because dancing can be an escape & why she enjoys it so much. “When you’re dancing you literally can’t think about anything except for what you’re doing in that very moment.” She said. In drill some of the team members have positions. Alexia and some of the team members had to go through an interview process with their coaches and they picked who they wanted in what office. Alexia is the Costume Chair.
