Have you ever thought about how homecoming week goes for the Kearns high school football team? Homecoming week can be very stressful for the players’ but can be fun and get the team excited about the game. The reason for this is so the team can see that everyone they go to school with supports them.

The homecoming game is meant to show a contribution to past teams and players by the current team learning past players’ mistakes. The head football coach at Kearns High School John Rowbotham said” I am very proud of how hard the team worked every day, and they continue to improve”. The homecoming game is meant to show that the Kearns high school team is improving. The Kearns football team is also trying to make the school and past players excited for the rest of the games that season. Present players also contribute to the reputation of the school and excitement and have something to look forward to in future games or years.

The homecoming football game was at Kearns High School. The head team caption for Kearns High School football team Austin Bell said, “big week, big rivalry, big win”. The homecoming football game happened on September 27th at 7 pm. The game was the Friday before the homecoming dance, and this is to help the team, and coaches get amped up about the game. The homecoming game was what they are practicing for at the beginning of the year for a good or bad kickoff on how the team will play.

If they were to win the game, they would celebrate together as a team because they got to play as a team. If they lose, they will continue to try and get better with the Kearns High School football team being a young team with mainly freshmen.
