Super Sadie’s Off to Save the Day

The Sadie Hawkins dance was on November 5th from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Sadies Hawkins has a tradition of being the opposite of normal dances. Instead of girls waiting for boys to ask them, Sadies Hawkins allows girls to do the asking.
The theme of the dance this year was “Super Sadies” which meant students could dress up as any superhero or supervillain couple. Jazmine Rodriguez, a student who attended the dance, said it was a lot of fun and it gave her a chance to spend time with her boyfriend. They dressed as Poison Ivy and the Riddler. They were only one example of the variety of creative super hero costumes at the dance.
Kearns SBO’s, counselors, and principle spent alot of time making every dance perfect for the students. We are all very thankful for the work and effort they put in to make it memorable. For many, the night was something they are going to remember for years to come
