The Sophomore football team of 2016-2017 has had a great season this year. They have played eight games and have had one loss the entire season.
“Hard work equals success,” says Coach Richards. They have practice four days a week from 4 to 6. Their practices are very intense, and it is clear that their hard work really paid off.
There are some things that the team can work on. They need to work on consistency, details, and focus. Some positive things are their talent, speed, and that they are hard working. With or without these, they are still a fantastic team. They are all good individually and as a group. They communicate with each other and know how to work together.
Kaiden Hale has been playing football for three
years. “I started playing

football because I wanted to, says Kaiden. Kaiden plays quarterback and dresses varsity sometimes. This means they put their gear on and stand on the side lines. They get to come in on occasion or if someone gets injured. “This can be hard, but overall Kearns had a fantastic year.” says Kaiden Hale.
Over the football season, Kaiden learned new things. They were the positions and learning what it takes to compete in the play offs in high school. “I would like to thank Coach Root for giving me the opportunities and making sure I had the best season I could have.”
