The sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman 1984, came out on December 25, 2020. The film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, and Pedro Pascal, and is directed by Patty Jenkins with a budget of 200 million dollars. It holds a rating of 60% on Rotten Tomatoes and was given a rating of PG-13. This acion/adventure film based on DC Comic’s Wonder Woman follows the female superhero Wonder Woman in the year 1984. Who faces new enemies Max Lord and The Cheetah. Wonder Woman lives among the humans as she works as a curator of ancient artifacts in Washington D.C. while still performing superhero acts with a low profile. When things change for her, she uses her gifts to fight against the new villains and the knowledge she learned from her home. Lynda Carter, who was cast in the original Wonder Woman television show, takes on the roll of Asteria in 1984. It can be watched on HBO Max and in theaters.
