A summary from IMDb states, “Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence, only those who can conquer their own fear will survive.”
Dune was rated 8.2/10 on IMDb, got 83% on Rotten Tomatoes, and 85% of Google users liked it. And it has earned more than $300 million at the box office worldwide.
Overall, Dune was a great movie. It had beautiful cinematography and amazing special effects, despite most of it being in the desert. The music scores fit the scenes very well and they bring you into the world of the film. I also think the plot was very interesting, and I can’t wait to see the next movie. You can see it on HBO Max and in theaters.
