The Kearns vs. Granger varsity football game took place on Aug 28, 2015 @ Granger high school. Before the game started both teams had a massive amount of amazing supporting fans! The Kearns student section was almost as full as the Granger section, even though it was an away game. As the game began @ 7:00pm the crowd and cheerleaders cheered our Kearns cougars on. The game started out intense, but the cougars managed to pull through. Touchdown after touchdown! There was no stopping these boys. Both offense and defense overpowered the field, ending with a score of 35-7 during halftime. Breaths rising, Hearts pounding, tweets flying Kearns high had their spirit on. With dedication and determination the cougars were ready for second half! The talent, the energy, and the enthusiasm that the cougars brought to the field only brought positivity to the Kearns side; making the Kearns cougars become undefeatable. Crowd shouting in happiness, “I believe that we will win!” And indeed they did, Kearns high won a victory of 35-13! Quarterback #12 John Bass stated, “Good work keep playing, every week we’re getting better and better.”
