Athlete of the Month

Rylee Jepperson is Athlete of the month of October! She is a senior at Kearns High School. She is on dance company and the officer of dance co. Rylee wants to continue dance after graduating high school. How does she manage to stay on at team and keep up with school work? She says that it’s hard with the Musical and sometimes there’s not time for homework.

Rylee’s advice for other athletes on the team is “Always keep a positive attitude. No matter what, even if you don’t like what we are doing. It will get better!”

What does the dance company teacher Ms. Mueller think of Rylee? She says that Rylee is hard working. She fulfills her responsibilities. She is open to learning new things. She is also in a dance class. Rylee is always wanting to improve in choreography and dancing. Ms. Mueller’s advice to other athletes on dance co. is, “Have a positive attitude. Have desire to dance in whatever form it comes in. Work on yourself as an individual and lift and support others.”

What does a younger Athlete on dance co. think of Rylee? Hailey Mortensen, A younger athlete says that Rylee is a true leader. She is always trying to do her best! Even if she doesn’t like something, she doesn’t show it and just looks for the best. She is an amazing dancer and a friend to everyone!
